Hatfield Consultants LLP is a multidisciplinary company providing consulting and applied research services in the environmental, social and geomatics sciences for the energy, mining, natural resources and maritime fields, as well as for special infrastructure projects.

Established in 1974, the employee-owned firm offers expertise in the regulations governing marine ecosystems, and in assessing and minimizing human-related impacts, especially when ecologically threatened species are involved.

Hatfield has completed more than 4,000 projects in North and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa for both public and private sector clients. ISO9001:2015 certified with a well-established corporate quality management system, Hatfield specializes in results-based reporting, project implementation and communication in managing large, multidisciplinary and complex projects.

Projects include various infrastructure development impact assessments, as well as studies for governments, Indigenous communities, and NGOs regarding activities such as dredging. Long-term studies related to climate change impacts on marine ecosystem health through water, sediment, fish and/or habitat monitoring are also offered.

With its head office is in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Hatfield also has branch offices in Fort St. John and Terrace, B.C., and Fort McMurray and Calgary, Alberta.
