On November 21st, Port Saint John obtained ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications for Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management Systems, respectively. Port Saint John is the first Canadian port to achieve these ISO certifications.
Attesting to Port Saint John’s auditing vis-à-vis global industry standards of excellence, these certifications meet the port’s new strategic objectives of leadership in safety and decarbonization.
Port Saint John intends to be audited yearly to maintain the certifications and ensure that the health, safety and environment management systems at the port continue to meet or exceed industry standards.
