ICS releases updated guide

International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) Publications has released the fifth edition of "Shipping and the Environment: A Guide to Environmental Compliance." 

This edition provides comprehensive updates and insights into the relationship between shipping operations and environmental protection. It serves as a definitive guide for companies and crew members, offering user-friendly resources for various levels of familiarity with MARPOL regulations and shipping's environmental impact.

The fifth edition is valuable for maritime companies, crew members, training institutions, administrations and policymakers aiming to promote awareness and action towards sustainable shipping practices. 

ICS plans to review and update the guide every two to three years to incorporate evolving regulations.
