GreenTech 2027: The call for speakers is now open!

Do you have a project, innovation, or concrete results to share that could help advance the maritime industry’s green transition? Green Marine invites you to submit a presentation proposal for GreenTech 2027, its 20th annual conference, taking place in Victoria, British Columbia, June 8–10, 2027.

This anniversary edition will weave a “20 years back, 20 years forward” perspective throughout the program, highlighting lessons learned, progress made, and the solutions shaping the industry’s future. Members of the maritime community are invited to propose presentations addressing Green Marine’s 15 performance indicators or timely topics relevant to its participants. Case studies from projects undertaken by or in partnership with certified participants are particularly welcome.

The main topics of interest include:

• Resilience — energy, infrastructure, climate, and global uncertainty;

• Decarbonization and energy transition;

• First Nations and community engagement;

• Innovation and technology;

• Ocean stewardship and biodiversity.

The program will combine traditional presentations with panel-style sessions, placing greater emphasis on discussion and diverse perspectives. Proposals should offer informative content rather than sales pitches and feature well-advanced or completed projects with concrete results to share.

The deadline to submit a proposal is Sunday, November 15, 2026.
