The Economist Impact for the 13th annual World Ocean Summit & Expo set sails for Montreal

Green Marine is delighted to be attending the Economist Impact’s 13th annual World Ocean Summit & Expo, taking place March 4–5, 2026, in Montréal, Canada.

This year’s summit promises to be a vital gathering for advancing the global dialogue on sustainable ocean management and innovation. Under the theme “Turning commitments into action,” more than 120 speakers and 800 in-person attendees will convene to chart the future of the ocean economy — translating global treaties and financing frameworks into tangible progress for ocean health and resilience.

Hosted by Economist Impact, the event will bring together cross-sector leaders from business, government, science, and civil society to explore key topics such as blue finance, marine protected areas (MPAs), innovation in ocean-based industries, and decarbonizing shipping.
