Okeanos Capital ("Okeanos") is a private market fund investing in early stage blue tech start-ups. Okeanos was created with the insight that the ocean plays a preponderant role in sustaining life on the planet, and there is a massive funding gap in blue tech. Okeanos is currently raising its first fund, which is expected to close at $30 million. Investments are made from pre-seed to Series A with cheques in the $1-million to $3-million range. Okeanos deploys capital across multiple industries in Canada, the United States and Europe.
