Véronique Trudeau is appointed to Fonds d’action Saint-Laurent's Board

Green Marine program director Véronique Trudeau has been appointed to the Fonds d’action Saint-Laurent's (FASL) board of directors. Her nomination was made official on October 15 during the organization’s annual general meeting.

“I’m honoured to contribute to the work of the FASL, an organization dedicated to protecting the St. Lawrence River and its gulf,” she says. “This role offers a valuable opportunity to support its long-term vision and provides a practical perspective on issues affecting the St. Lawrence and its ecosystems.”

The FASL is a nonprofit organization committed to the conservation, rehabilitation, and enhancement of the St. Lawrence River, as well as education and initiatives focused on raising awareness on environmental issues related to the river. As a Green Marine supporter since August 2023, the FASL highlights the importance of partnerships in safeguarding the St. Lawrence, and Véronique Trudeau will bring her expertise to help strengthen this connection between communities, biodiversity, and the river.
