The University of Michigan’s Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NA&ME) is recognized as a global leader in the field, setting the standard for design and research in all areas related to waterborne vehicles and marine systems. With a history dating back over 140 years, the department offers comprehensive undergraduate and graduate programs that cover the full spectrum of naval architecture and marine engineering disciplines.
