U.S. offshore wind industry benefits from LOGISTEC’s partnered expertise

LOGISTEC USA, a cargo-handling and marine services provider, has joined forces with Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives (IEA), a world leader in renewable energy and heavy civil infrastructure construction, to support new utility-scale offshore wind developments along the U.S. East Coast.

The U.S. Departments of Interior, Energy, and Commerce aim to deploy 30 gigawatts of offshore wind power in the United States by 2030, creating enough clean energy to support more than 10 million American homes annually and eliminating approximate 78 million metric tons of CO2 emissions.

With LOGISTEC’s leading experience in handling specialized wind components, and IEA’s engineering, procurement, and construction solutions, the newly formed alliance is well suited to providing customers with a fully integrated service for the burgeoning offshore wind market.
