PortXchange, a leading innovator in port call optimization and AI solutions for maritime decarbonization, has been included in the prestigious published annually by Flagship Founders.
“Being featured in the Global Maritime Tech Startup Map 2024 is a testament to our relentless commitment to innovation and sustainability,” Sjoerd de Jager, PortXchange’s CEO, says. “Our collaboration with leading ports, including the Port of Rotterdam, Port of Houston, Port of Amsterdam, and the Greater Houston Port Bureau, alongside our other port partners, paves the way for a greener and more efficient maritime future.”
The Global Maritime Tech Startup Map provides a comprehensive overview of maritime startups and scaleups with the biggest impact. PortXchange’s inclusion in this year’s Ports and Docks category recognizes the company’s pivotal role in advancing the maritime industry’s decarbonization efforts, particularly with its EmissionInsider and Synchronizer technologies.
EmissionInsider provides real-time insights into emissions data, helping ports to monitor and manage their environmental impact effectively. Synchronizer enhances port call efficiency, including just-in-time calls, minimizing delays and improving turnaround times which directly contributes to lower fuel consumption and emissions.
PortXchange was established in 2019 as an independent organization following its incubation at the Port of Rotterdam Authority. It provides trade-agnostic digital solutions to optimize operations and reduce maritime industry emissions. Since its implementation in Rotterdam, PortXchange has expanded to other ports such as Felixstowe, Moerdijk and Algeciras. It is now trusted by industry leaders worldwide to optimize more than 100,000 port calls annually.
