The Port of Windsor and Lafarge Canada plant dozens of trees

The Windsor Port Authority and its tenant Lafarge Canada arranged to plant 53 trees in the Sandwich Town neighbourhood of Windsor, Ontario, this past Oct. 30. The initiative taken in consultation with the Essex Regional Conservation Authority aims to reintroduce native tree species and enhance wildlife habitat along Russell Street while also improving long-term air quality.
