The Port of Montreal plants 301 trees

As part of its sustainable development and environmental preservation endeavours, the Port of Montreal planted a total of 301 trees to complete its tree planting program for 2019 at the end of October. The trees were planted between the Montreal Port Authority’s head office on Cité-du-Havre and Montreal East. As a member of the Greening Leaders Committee of Montreal, the Port of Montreal has pledged to plant 2,000 trees within five years. Close to 700 trees have been planted on port territory since 2017.
