Sail into knowledge: anchor your science poster at GreenTech!

February 16, 2026

GreenTech 2026, the 19th annual conference by Green Marine, is calling for scientific poster proposals to showcase research and innovations advancing maritime sustainability. Researchers, NGOs, students, and startups are invited to submit by March 20, 2026, to bridge science with industry applications.

GreenTech 2026 takes place June 9-11 at the Quebec City Convention Centre, focusing on the ecological transition in the maritime sector. This poster session highlights programs, research, case studies, and technical innovations during the conference.

Key Themes

Proposals should align with these priorities:

  • Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (electrification, shore power, alternative fuels, wind propulsion).
  • Climate resilience and adaptation in port infrastructure.
  • Circular economy and waste management in maritime operations.
  • Digital innovation and AI for environmental performance.
  • Biodiversity and ecosystem health.
  • Health, safety, and environmental equity for workers and port communities.

This is a great way to make a first foray into the Green Marine network and to exchange ideas with peers interested in sustainable shipping!
