Rightship to sponsor carbon offset costs

For a second consecutive year, Green Marine partner, Rightship, is stepping up as GreenTech 2016 Green sponsor, to cover all carbon offset costs of the conference to be held in Quebec City next May. It’s the third year Green Marine will be holding a carboneutral event. Green Marine received its PLANETAIR certification after purchasing carbon offset credits to neutralize the  the climate footprint of its previous annual conference, GreenTech 2015, held in Seattle May 27-29. All factors were taken into account: conference site, accommodations, food, supplies, land, air and ferry transportation, paper, etc. for a total of 69.8 tons of CO2 emitted.
