Preliminary Program Released for GreenTech 2023

March 3, 2023

With exactly 100 days to go until GreenTech 2023, Green Marine is releasing its preliminary program featuring over 30 speakers!

GreenTech is the forum of choice to learn more about the issues prioritized by the Green Marine program's environmental performance indicators, and other emerging issues of interest to the maritime industry and related stakeholders, including:

  • Infrastructure & climate change
  • Decarbonization
  • Alternative fuels
  • Green corridors
  • Data analytics / AI & supply chain
  • Aquatic ecosystems
  • Environmental justice & social license
  • Community relations
  • Natural habitat restoration & protection
  • Underwater noise
  • Electrification

As always, experts from Canada, the United States and Europe will present case studies, tangible experiences and examples of best practices. In addition to innovative sustainable development initiatives, GreenTech offers extensive relevant networking opportunities with delegates from diverse backgrounds and expertise: key maritime industry stakeholders, representatives from various environmental groups, academic and scientific experts, governmental officials, as well as technology/innovation suppliers.

Industry visits on the agenda

A warm welcome awaits the GreenTech 2023 delegates in Seattle. They will have the opportunity to participate in one of three industry visits taking place during the afternoon of Monday, June 12th, before the Opening Reception.

  • Port of Seattle – Duwamish River People’s Park
  • Washington Maritime Blue – Maritime Blue Hub and Startup Ventures tour
  • Washington State Ferries – All aboard access!

The capacity for these outings is limited, and early reservations are encouraged to avoid disappointment.

Delegates will also be able to visit the MoPoP museum with Green Marine hosting its Certification Ceremony there on Tuesday, June 13th.

Finally, the best way to end a maritime event is on the water! On Wednesday afternoon, delegates will have the opportunity to board one of Argosy Cruise’s vessels for a harbour tour organized by the Port of Seattle.
