Ports America expands its participation in the Green Marine program

Ports America, the largest operator of marine terminals in North America, has strengthened its position as a leader in sustainable operations by adding three new terminals to its Green Marine certification: IAP at the Port of Brunswick, FAPS at the Port Newark Auto Terminal, and the Husky Terminal in Tacoma.

With these new additions, Ports America now has 24 terminals certified or enrolled in the Green Marine environmental certification program, highlighting its ongoing commitment to sustainable port operations across the continent.

With its headquarters in Jersey City, the company operates 70 sites in 33 U.S. ports throughout the United States and stands out as a leader in port technology solutions. Since its founding in 1921, Ports America has spurred innovation in stevedoring, cargo handling, and best-in-class terminal operations. Its wide range of supply chain services includes container, breakbulk, automotive, military, and cruise ship operations.
