Ocean acquires new eco-friendly equipment

A new “waterblast” high-pressure water-jet robot purchased by Ocean has been put to use for the first time at a floating dry dock to strip the hull of the Ocean Raynald T. tug. The new technology allows the water used for sanding to be recovered, filtered and reused. No residue is left on the operation site’s floor.

The water-jet robot only requires one person to operate it remotely. The high noise levels and dust from traditional sanding are also a thing of the past.
