Norda Stelo becomes first major Canadian engineering firm to achieve B Corp certification

B Corp certification demonstrates that a company meets high standards of verified performance, accountability and transparency on factors ranging from employee benefits and environmental leadership to community involvement and responsible supply chain practices.

Norda Stelo joins a network of leading companies in the global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy. As evidenced by its business model, the consulting engineering firm highly values the application of ESG (environment, societal and governance) principles. The firm has adopted practices to extend the life of existing assets, reduce their environmental footprint, and help asset managers better plan their investments while managing risk.

Norda Stelo is committed to working on mandates with industries having a large environmental footprint only from the perspectives of helping them to migrate to decarbonization and to improve both human and environmental health and safety.

To maintain its B Corp certification, Norda Stelo will be required to undergo the related audit process every three years, with a focus on continual improvement.
