Green Marine is pleased to announce that Véronique Trudeau is joining our team as the new program manager for the St. Lawrence region based in Quebec City. She holds a Master’s in Biological Sciences (Freshwater Ecology) and a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She previously worked for Norda Stelo as a project manager and biologist (fish habitat and water quality specialist).
At Green Marine, her primary role will be to support the St. Lawrence region’s participants in implementing the program, as well as coordinating the St. Lawrence advisory committee and other working groups. She begins her new position September 3rd and can be reached at 418-649-6004, ext. 301, and by email at veronique.trudeau@green-marine.org
She will replace Véronique Nolet, who has been a Green Marine program manager since 2016 and a Green Marine Project Manager – Marine Habitat for the two previous years under an agreement with Transport Canada to research the issues related to underwater noise. She left at the end of July to pursue new challenges as part of Transport Canada’s Research and Development team. Green Marine is grateful to her for her exceptional contribution in developing the environmental program’s underwater noise criteria and her extensive support to the program’s members over the past five years.
