New partnership formed between the Port of Quebec and 2 Degrés

The Port of Québec has announced a two-year partnership with 2 Degrés, a business incubator specializing in clean technologies.

With 2 Degrés' expertise in guiding the emergence of new cleantech enterprises, the partnership will help the port to find innovative solutions in a number of areas, including the development of clean energies, decarbonization and the fight against climate change, and harmonious city-port cohabitation.

"The solutions developed thanks to this partnership can be applied to other ports, here and abroad, that are facing the same challenges as we are,” said Mario Girard, the president and CEO of the Port of Quebec. “It's a great opportunity for us to drive forward our Quebec companies and promote economic returns for Quebec in the cleantech sector.”

With its various experts and infrastructures, the port’s territory provides an ideal playground for developing technologies.

Six new cleantech companies have already joined the 2 Degrés incubation program.
