Green Marine is pleased to welcome Port Everglades Terminal (PET) to its environmental certification program. The terminal’s decision to join Green Marine is a new step in its ongoing efforts to strengthen its commitment to sustainability and responsible performance.
PET provides stevedoring and terminal services to shipping lines that connect South Florida to global markets. Its facility handles over 30 vessel calls each month, predominantly carrying containerized cargo. Non-containerized cargo, such as yachts, oversized cargoes, and heavy lifts, can also be handled at its facility.
PET is an essential part of the supply chain, offering a broad range of services designed to move cargo quickly and efficiently through South Florida. By providing operational expertise, high-quality customer service, and forward-thinking solutions, terminal and stevedoring services are safely and efficiently managed.
By enrolling its terminal in the Green Marine certification program, PET will advance its efforts toward cleaner, more sustainable operations within a structured and transparent framework. Membership will enable the terminal to benchmark its environmental performance in key areas such as air emissions mitigation, spill prevention, and waste management.
