New participant CanEst Transit charts a greener path for agricultural export logistics

Green Marine is pleased to welcome CanEst Transit Inc. to its environmental certification program. The terminal’s decision to join Green Marine is a new step in its ongoing efforts to strengthen its commitment to sustainability and responsible performance.

Strategically located in the Port of Montreal, next to the container terminals, CanEst Transit is a strategic containerization facility specializing in the cleaning and containerization of agricultural products. It offers various services, including product cleaning, sifting, packaging and containerization, as well as the handling of bulk grain and by-products.

By enrolling its terminal in the Green Marine certification program, CanEst Transit will advance toward cleaner, more sustainable operations within a structured and transparent framework. Membership will enable the terminal to benchmark its environmental performance in key areas such as air emissions mitigation, spill prevention, and waste management.
