New Carbon Baseline tool to assess GHG performance launched by FuelTrust

FuelTrust, a technology company dedicated to creating a reliable, sustainable fuel ecosystem for the maritime industry, has introduced Carbon Baseline, a new artificial intelligence (AI) solution for delivering a baseline assessment of historical vessel and fleet emissions.

Using a cloud-based AI and blockchain technology, FuelTrust’s Carbon Baseline assesses each vessel’s progress based on data going back to 2008. This detailed and verified baseline assessment informs financial decisions, tax levies and the environmental, social and government (ESG) reporting needed to achieve the internationally required 50% carbon-reduction target by 2050.

Carbon Baseline helps ship owners to obtain green certifications and/or carbon credits by readily providing the data necessary as proof of their effective measures towards reducing carbon emissions.
