New association econext champions sustainability, innovation, and net zero in Newfoundland

Green Marine is excited to announce econext as our newest association member, welcoming them to our environmental certification program.

econext is a not-for-profit association dedicated to advancing clean growth in Newfoundland and Labrador, focusing on innovation, workforce development, and achieving net zero. With a history spanning over 30 years, it has established a network of more than 150 members, comprising businesses, research institutions, governments, and other organizations, serving as a central voice for the region’s green economy.

econext’s vision is for Newfoundland and Labrador to be recognized as a significant contributor to global decarbonization, while achieving net zero domestically by 2050.

By joining Green Marine, econext will act as a bridge between its members and our program, motivating them to get involved and showcasing the successes of our participants to key industry players and governmental stakeholders.
