Khtada Environmental Services Limited Partnership becomes partner

Khtada Environmental Services Limited Partnership (Khtada) is a partnership that was formalized in 2014 between the Metlakatla Development Corporation (MDC) and Triton Environmental Consultants Ltd. (Triton) to deliver environmental consulting services along British Columbia’s northern coast.

MDC is an independent business arm wholly owned by the Metlakatla First Nation and has been working for the sustainable economic development of the Nation and its members since 1989. Triton is a leading environmental consulting company that has operated along B.C.’s northern coast for more than 30 years. It has 10 B.C. and Alberta offices, including Prince Rupert, Terrace and Kitimat.

As a partnership, Khtada fulfils client needs while building capacity and providing Metlakatla members with professional development opportunities in the environmental consulting field. Khtada is comprised of diverse professional and technical team members who provide cost-effective, practical solutions and advice to help clients achieve their environmental goals. Khtada offers a suite of environmental consulting services, including terrestrial and aquatic assessments, habitat offsetting and compensation planning, compliance monitoring, and environmental monitoring for small- and large-scale construction projects.
