The Trois-Rivières Port Authority inaugurated the Hector-Louis Langevin Park in May. The park represents an investment of almost $575,000. The project is part of the port’s On Course for 2020 strategic plan and the city’s urban development plan. It has involved transforming a parking lot into a new green space, as well as a commitment by both entities to provide Trois-Rivières residents with unobstructed access to the banks of the St. Lawrence and Saint-Maurice rivers over a continuous shoreline of more than two kilometres.
