Harbor Docking and Towing strengthens its environmental commitment by joining Green Marine

Green Marine is pleased to welcome Harbor Docking and Towing (HDT) as a new participant.

HDT is a ship owner specializing in harbour tug assist, vessel escorting, liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal support, windfarm installation and emergency towing response, providing reliable expertise to the ports it serves.

Its modern fleet includes hybrid tugs with Tier IV main engines, which reduce fuel consumption by 60% and emissions by 50%. HDT also intends to gradually integrate renewable fuels to further improve the environmental performance of its operations by reducing its fleet emissions.

By joining Green Marine, they’re committing to continual improvement in environmental performance, with key focus areas including underwater noise, waste management and air emissions.
