GREENTECH 2022 PROGRAM ANNOUNCED

Quebec City, February 28, 2022 – Green Marine will be in Montreal for its 15th annual conference! GreenTech 2022 takes place at the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal this June 8th to 10th.

GreenTech will provide a forum to learn more about the issues prioritized by the Green Marine program’s environmental performance indicators, and other emerging issues of keen interest to the maritime industry and related stakeholders, notably:

  • Decarbonization
  • Port Electrification
  • Alternative Marine Fuels and Propulsion
  • Infrastructure Investments
  • Innovative Partnerships
  • Green Corridors and Digitalization
  • Marine Transport and Coastal Habitats
  • Pollution at Sea
  • The Circular Economy

As always, experts from Canada, the United States and Europe will present case studies, actual experience and examples of best practices. In addition to innovative sustainable development initiatives, GreenTech offers extensive relevant networking opportunities with delegates from diverse backgrounds and expertise: key maritime industry stakeholders, representatives from various environmental groups, academic and scientific experts, governmental officials, as well as technology/innovation suppliers.

True to its tradition, Green Marine will hold its annual trade show in tandem with the annual conference. All the GreenTech 2022 booths are already booked!

INDUSTRY VISITS ON THE AGENDA!

A warm welcome awaits the GreenTech 2022 delegates in Montreal. They will have the opportunity to participate in one of three industry visits taking place during the afternoon of Wednesday, June 8th, before the Opening Reception.

  • The Port of Montreal – The Container Journey (50+ years of successful expansion)
  • The Port of Montreal – The Bulk Route (iron ore, copper, salt… on the move)
  • A look at the St. Lawrence Seaway (an innovative marine highway)

The number of places for these outings is limited and early reservations are encouraged to avoid disappointment.

Delegates will also be able to visit the Vieux Port de Montréal with Green Marine hosting its Certification Ceremony at the historic Marché Bonsecours on Thursday, June 9th.
