GreenTech 2018 call for speakers

Green Marine is heading West for it’s 11th annual conference. GreenTech 2018 will take place in Vancouver, B.C. at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel.

Green Marine welcomes proposals for presentations from marine transportation community members focusing on real-life experiences, case studies and/or leading edge research that show delegates how best practices, new technologies and insightful partnerships make a difference.

Green Marine invites you to submit proposals on the different environmental issues covered by our environmental program performance indicators and on subjects of current interest to our U.S. and Canadian participants: ship owners, ports, terminals and shipyards.

On top of the issues addressed by the Green Marine environmental program’s performance indicators, GreenTech 2018 will tackle emerging issues and relevant topics to shipping and ports sustaibility such as:

• Advanced technologies and low carbon transportation
• Aquatic invasive species (biofouling)
• Public engagement, information sharing, and communication tools in print, digital, and in-person
• Sustainable development in time of growth
• Underwater noise and marine mammals
