Green Marine renews its carbon-neutral business certification

For the sixth consecutive year, Green Marine has received Planetair's carbon-neutral business certification. It was obtained by Green Marine compensating for the climate footprint arising from its 2023 operations through Gold Standard-certified carbon offset projects.

With the assistance of Planetair, Green Marine calculated and offset the greenhouse gas emissions generated from all work-related travel (including daily commutes), infrastructure operations, waste management, electricity use, and paper consumption by all its staff in 2023. All the operations carried out by remote work and digital communications – such as all the online work and presence, newsletters, emails, video calls and the virtual gatherings of committees and working groups – have also been considered.

Green Marine purchased the equivalent of 50.74 metric tons of CO2 in carbon credits.
