Émilie Bédard has joined the Green Marine team as a Communications officer as of this March 2025. In her new role, she is involved in a variety of essential tasks, from newsletter conception and website management to social media coordination and membership support. She is working closely with the team on internal and external communications and is also extensively involved in GreenTech's logistics.
With a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Modern Languages, and a Master's in Public Communication, Émilie has diversified her skills throughout her career. Before joining Green Marine, she worked in a variety of fields, including the outdoor industry, first aid and CPR training, and even completed an internship at an event agency in China. These experiences helped her cultivate a versatile approach firmly rooted in the realities of effective communications.
Proud to be joining Green Marine, she is eager to use her skills for projects that have positive impacts on the environment and society. Émilie’s hiring followed the announcement of Julie Turmel’s departure. Julie held the role of Communications Officer from 2020 to 2025.
