Five additional Ports America terminals join the Green Marine program

Ports America has added five terminals to the Green Marine environmental certification program, bringing its total number of participating terminals to 21.

“Ports America’s commitment to achieving environmental certification for 21 of its terminals demonstrates exemplary environmental leadership, which we hope will inspire other maritime terminal operators with extensive networks worldwide to follow suit,” says David Bolduc, Green Marine’s president and CEO.

The new terminals are in Brooklyn, Baton Rouge, Miami, Wilmington, as well as the NATSS terminal also located at Berth 197 of the World Cruise Terminal in Wilmington. They join the participating terminals located in Baltimore, New Orleans, Port Hueneme, San Pedro (WBCT), Manhattan, Port Newark (PNAT), Newark (PNCT), Seattle, Tacoma, Gulfport, Bayport, Freeport, Galveston, Charleston, Tampa, and at LA Cruise.
