Excel Dryer is awarded for its measurable environmental performance

The Sustainability Awards have recognized Excel Dryer with three top awards for environmental performance for its business and products. The company received the Diamond Organization Sustainability Award, as well as the Diamond Product Awards for the XLERATOReco® Hand Dryer and the D|VERSE Sink System featuring the XLERATORsync® Hand Dryer.

The Sustainability Awards is an international program founded by Australian environmentalist Anna Chatburn to recognize organizations and products that stand out for their exemplary sustainability practices. Assessments, conducted by a panel of experts with diverse profiles in the environmental sector, as well as environmental certification and accreditation, are based on environmental performance and alignment with six United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

• Sustainable cities and communities
• Affordable and clean energy
• Responsible consumption and production
• Climate action
• Life on land
• Life below water

The Diamond-level awards are presented to organizations and products that demonstrate exceptional environmental performance in their field and rank among the strongest performers assessed through the program. Applicants are evaluated on measurable actions and outcomes, including efforts to reduce emissions, limit waste, improve resource efficiency, and support broader environmental objectives.

Excel Dryer’s recognition reflects environmental data documented through Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Health Product Declarations (HPDs). The awarded products address energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and solid waste associated with hand drying, while facility measures include natural lighting, energy-efficient HVAC systems, solar panels and packaging redesigns that eliminate non-recyclable materials.

The company’s operations also incorporate lean manufacturing and optimized logistics to reduce emissions from production and distribution. On-site beehives and native pollinator gardens support local biodiversity and employee education, while product certifications and compatibility with the LEED® and WELL Building Standards provide verified sustainability information for architects, contractors and facilities managers.
