ecoSPEARS provides environmentally friendly, cost-effective technologies for the permanent removal and destruction of PCBs, dioxins and other toxic chlorinated contaminants from sediments, soils or ground water.

The company offers a better, greener solution to extract and destroy PCBs, dioxins, and other chlorinated toxins from the environment forever. SPEARS is short for Sorbent Polymer Extraction And Remediation System – a scalable, in-situ remediation technology that removes PCBs from contaminated sediments without harmful chemicals or by-products.

ecoSPEARS is the exclusive licensee of the NASA-patented SPEARS technology invented at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center by Dr. Jacqueline Quinn, a NASA environmental engineer whose technological innovations have been recognized by her induction into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2016.
