CargoM and the St. Laurence Economic Development Council (Sodes) are highlighting the importance of the Cap Saint-Laurent Directory, which is a tool intended to promote the actors and partners in the Quebec maritime and port industry.
Launched during the Quebec maritime industry’s annual conference, the platform aims to position Quebec’s expertise internationally and to facilitate the internationalization of companies, organizations and research centres. Cap Saint-Laurent offers a range of services and business resources for North American and foreign partners using the St. Lawrence as a navigable artery.
The directory brings together actors in the maritime and port network who make the St. Lawrence River an engine of social and economic development. To be listed, consult the criteria to verify whether you should be integrated into the network.
Cap St-Laurent is not just a directory. It highlights the maritime industry’s achievements, covering such areas as freight mobility, cybersecurity, process improvement, agility, and decarbonization. These projects can resolve challenges and inspire the implementation of new solutions. The platform also aligns with the Quebec government’s maritime vision, Avantage Saint-Laurent, with a focus on port infrastructure, navigation that is respectful of the ecosystem, and the sustainable development of maritime communities.
