A family-owned company established in 1953 in Denmark, C.C. Jenson has become well known for its high-quality products. Its CJC® Oil Filtration Filters and CJC® Filter Inserts are now available through a global network consisting of 12 subsidiaries, three affiliated companies, a joint venture partner, a sales office and more than 40 distributors.
C.C. Jensen has prioritized sustainability, launching a goal in 2008 to become a CO2 neutral company. Various efforts have successfully been made to reduce the company’s environmental footprint. They include lowering electrical consumption, along with heating and cooling energy use, and investing in renewable energy. The company has converted to electric vehicles, and reduced business travel significantly. As a result, C.C. Jensen has reduced its CO2 footprint within this scope by 80%.
A lot of this success is attributed to the company’s employees who, led by an internal steering committee, changed their energy use at the office and at home. Since 2021, CO₂ savings have become a part of the company’s day-to-day operations. By joining the standardized Scientific Based Targets Initiative, C.C. Jensen is making it easier for its customers to evaluate its sustainability efforts.
