The Monique Fitz-Back Foundation has partnered with the Port of Québec to create an educational tool called « The port and the city of Quebec: inseparable! » The tool aims to raise youth awareness regarding the Port of Québec and its activities and to launch discussions about the issues that may arise from the coexistence of a port and a city. Two educational activities are offered: one for third-cycle elementary students, and the other for first-cycle high-school students. The education kit also includes information to help teachers to prep for the animation activities. The tool will be distributed this fall to elementary and high schools in the Greater Quebec City Area and Chaudière-Appalaches region.
The complete education kit is available (in French only) in a PDF format from the Monique Fitz-Back Foundation website.
