Another CETEQ Innovation and Environmental Protection Award for SANEXEN

For a second consecutive year, SANEXEN has won the Innovation and Environmental Protection Award from the Conseil des entreprises en technologies environnementales du Québec (CETEQ), an employers’ association that brings together the private companies from the main sectors of Quebec’s green economy.

The award recognizes companies that have developed a new approach, technology or service that has a positive impact on the environment. In 2021, SANEXEN was recognized for its project involving the recovery of certain residual materials. The 2022 award is for its ingenuity in developing its innovative ALTRA solution to eliminate the manufactured perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl chemical substances (PFAS) from water.

CETEQ noted SANEXEN’s success in developing a robust and effective treatment solution that cost-effectively removes PFAS, and is well suited to the needs of a wide range of customers because of its adaptability to various levels of contamination.

The award was presented at CETEQ's annual Envirolys gala, an event that promotes private expertise in the green economy, the entrepreneurship and innovation of environmental service industry builders, as well as new technologies and significant environmental projects in the province.
