American Maritime Podcast receiving Green Marine on Earth Day

Earth Day was highlighted in part by the American Maritime Partnership podcast, which took the opportunity to host a representative from Green Marine to discuss sustainability efforts in the U.S. maritime industry. For the occasion, Jennifer Carpenter, President and CEO of the American Waterways Operators and host of this podcast episode, was joined by Dr. Eleanor Kirtley, Senior Program Manager of Green Marine.

In addition to talking about the Green Marine’s environmental certification program, Jennifer and Eleanor discussed the potential application of marine businesses to reduce their carbon footprint, the optimistic vision for the future of the industry and more.

American Waterways Operators and American Maritime Partnership are both Green Marine Association members.
