A wave of generosity for the Musée maritime de Charlevoix

The maritime community once again rallied together at the fourth edition of Cap sur le Fleuve. The charity event hosting 150 influential maritime and other business representatives raised a record $115,000 for the Musée maritime de Charlevoix.

The event received support from 35 partners, including several Green Marine participants, such as CSL, Ocean Group, QSL, the Port of Montreal, the Port of Trois-Rivières, and Groupe Desgagnés, which was recognized among the major donors.

Claude Lafleur, the museum’s president, expressed his gratitude, noting that the fundraising achievement is much more than a mere sum. He said it represents a wave of solidarity beyond expectations and will help the museum not only to preserve its three historic schooners, but also to develop new experiences for visitors.
