A scientific symposium for the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park’s 20th anniversary
In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the Saguenay – St. Lawrence Marine Park is organizing a symposium that will bring together researchers from different backgrounds, local administrators and stakeholders, educators and students to share knowledge acquired within the Marine Park and surrounding areas. This event will be an occasion to discuss questions that engage our society with respect to the conservation and protection of ecologically and culturally significant marine environments in Canada and elsewhere in the world. Green Marine’s Program manager, Véronique Nolet, is among the speakers. She will present the various performance indicators of the environmental certification program for the maritime industry and the working methods used to foster a better cohabitation between ships and whales.
