A new supporter: Develop Nova Scotia

Develop Nova Scotia is a provincial Crown corporation that is working through various partnerships to enhance communities and their economic prosperity. It is currently leading a series of projects focused on developing infrastructure to support Nova Scotia’s working waterfronts as well as key destinations to attract people to the province to visit or live.

At the core of Develop Nova Scotia’s approach is the role of place in attracting people, which is  why it prioritizes quality planning, development and management of land that both suits people and respects Nova Scotia’s treasured natural landscapes and cultural richness.

One example is the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship (COVE) initiated and owned by Develop Nova Scotia. COVE is a collaborative facility for applied innovation in the ocean sector with two large, deep-water piers and extensive marine facilities that became a Green Marine participant in 2021.
