4th Sustainable Ocean Summit (SOS)

The World Ocean Council (WOC) will hold its 4th SOS from November 30th to December 2nd 2016, in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, Europe. This year’s SOS theme is “OCEAN 2030: Sustainable Development Goals and the Ocean Business Community”. David Bolduc, Green Marine executive director, is one of the guest speakers in the session on Shipping, Sustainable Development and Synergies: Communication and Coordination Among Green Shipping Initiatives.

SOS 2016 will bring together over 300 international, high-level ocean industry participants in a unique cross-sectoral forum to shape the ocean sustainability agenda, address emerging ocean issues and regulation, and develop strategic alliances on ocean sustainability, science and stewardship. SOS 2016 participants will work together to review ocean economic projections for the coming 15 years and develop industry-driven solutions to ocean sustainable development challenges.
