Program

GreenTech has become a must for discussing key issues related to sustainable shipping.

It’s in the beautiful city of Québec that the Green Marine team has the pleasure to host its 19th annual conference, GreenTech 2026 - the event will take place at the Quebec Convention Center, June 9th to 11th.

GreenTech will provide a forum to learn more about the issues prioritized by the Green Marine program’s environmental performance indicators, and other emerging issues of keen interest to the maritime industry and related stakeholders.

Main topics of interest for GreenTech 2026

GHG Reduction & Decarbonization

Exploring cutting-edge strategies to lower emissions across maritime operations—at sea and on shore— from shore power and terminal electrification to hybrid/electric vessels, future fuels, wind propulsion, and green corridors. The focus is on practical pathways toward a zero-emissions future.

Supply Chain Resilience

How can maritime players withstand and adapt to global disruptions? This theme examines innovative business models, contingency planning, and perspectives from insurers, ports, researchers, and NGOs to strengthen supply chains against geopolitical, labor, and climate risks.

Shipyards & Retrofit Solutions

The shipbuilding industry plays a pivotal role in advancing sustainable maritime transportation. This theme spotlights newbuild innovations, eco-friendly shipyard practices, and retrofit technologies that enable existing fleets to meet current and future environmental challenges.

AI & Digitalization

From predictive maintenance and robotics at ports to harnessing real-time data for decision-making, this theme focuses on digital innovation as a driver of both operational agility and environmental performance in maritime logistics.
