Vapcor Inc.’s HydraFlow classified as EAL

Vapcor Inc.’s HydraFlow®, a fire-resistant, water-glycol hydraulic fluid, has been tested and classified as an Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant (EAL). HydraFlow® has also passed Environment Canada’s ecotoxicity acute lethality test using rainbow trout. Environment Canada uses the ecotoxicity test on all fluids that could potentially spill into Canadian waterways. HydraFlow® won’t leave any static sheen (EPA Method 1617) when mixed with water. Biodegradable (OECD 301B), it is also non-flammable, non-bio-accumulative (OECD 107), and non-toxic to algae, daphnia, and minnows (Ecotoxicity Test Method OECD 201/2/3 respectively).
