Prince Rupert launches Community Information Forum

September 17, 2013

The Prince Rupert Port Authority has invited members of the public to join a forum that will provide opportunities for ongoing dialogue about port operations and developments. The new Community Information Forum will have a maximum of 20 registered members. The goal is to include environmental, aboriginal, municipal, business and other community interests, as well as the general public. The members will prompt the topics for discussion. These could include port-related project design, employment and training opportunities, port harbour operations, health and safety issues, business opportunities, environmental monitoring, or other topics deemed appropriate by the forum.
