CSL Group adds its Australia division to the Green Marine program

The Canadian headquarters of CSL Group, Canada Steamship Lines, is one of Green Marine founding participants. The CSL Group will now benchmark its Australian vessels environmental performance against Green Marine criteria. The U.S. based division, CSL Americas is also a Green Marine participant.

Green Marine receives Lloyd’s List North American Maritime Award

Green Marine received the Lloyd’s List North American Maritime Award last night for Environmental Excellence. Being the recipient of this prestigious North American award is a great honour for Green Marine. “The Green Marine initiative has grown rapidly and the number of participants has almost tripled since the program’s inception in 2007, with the latest count being 90 and steadily rising,” noted David Bolduc, Green Marine’s executive director, after the ceremony in Houston, TX. “This award is a testament to the program’s success and, even more importantly, to its relevance and credibility throughout North America.”
