Green Marine receives Lloyd’s List North American Maritime Award

Green Marine received the Lloyd’s List North American Maritime Award last night for Environmental Excellence. Being the recipient of this prestigious North American award is a great honour for Green Marine. “The Green Marine initiative has grown rapidly and the number of participants has almost tripled since the program’s inception in 2007, with the latest count being 90 and steadily rising,” noted David Bolduc, Green Marine’s executive director, after the ceremony in Houston, TX. “This award is a testament to the program’s success and, even more importantly, to its relevance and credibility throughout North America.”

Green Marine shortlisted for Lloyd’s List Awards 2015

Green Marine has been named as a finalist for the Lloyd’s List North American Maritime Awards 2015 to be presented February 18th in Houston.

The Green Marine environmental program was selected from an international pool of nominees as one of six finalists for the Environmental Excellence Award.

Green Marine shortlisted for international award

Green Marine has been named as a finalist for the inaugural Ship Efficiency Awards 2014 hosted by Lloyd’s Register and taking place Oct. 2nd in London, immediately following Ship Efficiency: The Event 2014 being held in association with mobile satellite communications provider Inmarsat. The Green Marine environmental program was selected from an international pool of nominees as one of five finalists for the Initiative of the Year award.

A native of Belgium, she has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Geography from l’Université libre de Bruxelles which she is following with a Master’s in Geography from l’Université de Montréal.
