Great Lakes Plastic Clean Up

Georgian Bay Forever, a Green Marine supporter, is the most recent organization to join the Great Lakes Plastic Clean Up initiative launched in September by the Council of the Great Lakes Region. Through the Great Lakes Plastic Cleanup initiative, CGLR, working alongside its project partners, will spearhead and support the largest single deployment of two innovative technologies in the world, the Seabin and the LittaTrap to capture and recover plastic debris along Ontario’s Great Lakes shorelines. GLPC founding members includes Green Marine members PortsToronto and Pollution Probe. Another Green Marine partner, Enviropod (owner of the LittaTrap technology), is also collaborating on the project.
