Port of Montreal President & CEO elected to Green Marine Board of Directors

Green Marine is pleased to welcome Sylvie Vachon as one of its directors. The Montreal Port Authority President and CEO was elected during the Annual General Meeting held on May 31, 2017, in Fort Lauderdale where Green Marine held its 10th annual conference, GreenTech 2017.

“Sylvie Vachon’s nomination shows a high-level commitment to sustainability from the Port of Montreal,” said Green Marine Executive Director David Bolduc. “We are pleased to have an administrator with her level of expertise sitting on our Board. Sylvie has been a great champion of the program since she assumed leadership of the Port of Montreal in 2010 and we are confident her involvement with our organization will bring knowledge and vision as the program continues its progress across North America.”

The Port of Montreal is one of Green Marine founding members and one of its top performers achieving top levels in all but one performance indicators in the 2016 results.
